Geez, the guy I mentioned who wrote a review on the 17th yesterday wrote about the 19th back in 2008. Man, he can push a pen. Having missed out on this era personally, at least there's testimony such as this out there. What a great complement to the music itself to be able to read of another's experience who was there:

Subject: Nothing like the Fox...
I was lucky enough to live in the area and the Fox run of shows was dazzling. Rumors at the time had the Dead considering purchasing this grand old theatre for their Midwest outpost. This show had an energy that just quite doesn't translate, in spite of all of the good words written about it here. The band was on the whole 3 nights, feeling so comfortable and settled in this beautiful space with the lineup I consider the best I'd seen in my time and the crowd was primed. The music was transformational live and in person, especially from 5th row Jerry, although that's just where my body was. Kieth was really on, and as the new guy was adding texture and layers that meshed soooo well with Jerry, Phil & Bobby. Bill was ever-present, moving it all along with amazing rolls & fills, all really tight. The crowd was really high on the music, the acoustics, each other, about 4500 heads all getting off together...you all know what I mean. Jack Straw, Sugaree, China>Rider, Bird Song, The Other One...By the time we hit NFA>GDTRFB>NFA we were at a fever pitch, riding the Bus to the Gates of Heaven to the Paradise that lay in front of us. But really I was immersed in the whole show, 1st song to last, not an off note to my sunshined mind. I'm was blessed to have seen the band at this time, and doubly blessed to have seen these Fox shows.

EDT: Another reviewer who was there pointed out this three night stand happened on a Tuesday, Wedensday and Thursday. Geez this is all just crazy good.
